São Bernardo do Campo is located in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, more precisely in Grande ABC Paulista. The region is also made up of Santo André, São Caetano do Sul, Diadema, Mauá, Ribeirão Pires and Rio Grande da Serra.

With about 408 km², more than 50% of this area of environmental preservation and with more than 845 thousand inhabitants is one of the largest GDPs in Brazil. The history of the city is closely related to the history of the country's industrialization. There are about 1200 industries that generate approximately 80 thousand jobs.

Due to these facts and in a strategic way, Industrial Tourism emerged as a proposal for a tourist segment that identifies the city and from there, makes it a reference as a national and international tourist destination.
